Guess What?!?

If you follow me on twitter or IG, you may already know but I'm engaged.

This whole process is totally new!

I'm blessed to have parents that have been married over 30 years!
But... I wasn't born when they got married.

Plus I don't have older brothers and sisters.

I'm starting literally from the bottom-
Canadian Wedding or Destination Wedding?!
I have NO idea!

I did skip the engagement party for a week long vacation in Jamaica. Totally worth it. Hahah!

I just wanted to let you all know that I may be sharing my some experience here on the blog.
Not the dress- because my fiancé reads my blog.

Probably stuff about venue scouting, bridemaid dresses, food and decoration.

If you have any tips or words of advice- please leave it below!

  4. Congrats again!!! There is a subscription box call the bride box I think sadly they only ship to the US but maybe you can talk to them and work something out, that would help with wedding planning :)

I can't really give you any tips, or advice, but I have a lot of friends who have been engaged and married. They all tell me it gets crazy planning a wedding, and to just relax, and have fun. Enjoy the moment.

  11. Congratulations Jenn! I've been very happily married to my man for over 2 years now and the best advice I can give is to do what YOU and YOUR FIANCEE want to do for your wedding. Drown out everyone else's opinion because trust me, nothing makes people feel like they have license to give you advice like a wedding does. Oh and go to a few wedding shows for inspiration but don't overdo it because then there's just too much to choose from...I can go on and on because I planned my own wedding which was held at The Doctor's House in Kleinburg. I'm always here for advice if you need it! <3

  12. Congratulations!! Enjoy being engaged! I agree with Monique, do what you and your fiancee want to do for the wedding. Don't do anything based on obligation to anyone. It's YOUR (and fiancee's) day. There will be some disagreement on some wedding decisions...when that happens, step back and take breather. A wedding is about the 2 of you wanting to commit to each other in front of love ones...the wedding say is JUST ONE DAY for the rest of your lives.
I would also recommend getting wedding photographer that uses 2 photographer...it's usually not that much more than a single photographer, that way they will be able to capture pictures of the both of you/wedding party AND shots of your family/friends from your special day.
