How does 7 Day Keratin Smooth System work?
TRESemmé conducted a survey and found that most (66%) of Canadian women would like their hair to be more manageable – the 7-Day Keratin Smooth System was the perfect solution. The new TRESemmé range features three products that work together for frizz-resistant hair that lasts through washes: shampoo, conditioner and a heat activated treatment. The Heat Activated Treatment is simply activated by the heat of flat iron and provides women with smooth hair that lasts for seven days, even through washes.

Here’s how to use:

STEP 1: Prep - Shampoo and condition with TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner. Then towel-dry hair.

STEP 2: Section & Apply - Divide hair into 4-6 equal sections. Dispense 2 pumps of the Heat Activated Treatment (per section) into your palm, then rub hands together before applying evenly to each section of your hair.

STEP 3: Distribute - Comb the Heat Activated Treatment through your hair, distributing it from root to tip, to ensure an even, frizz-resistant barrier throughout.

STEP 4: Blow-dry - Blow-dry while using a round brush until hair is completely dry.

STEP 5: Activate - To activate the Thermal Technology, flat iron hair in small sections. Repeat 3 passes per section.

Is it safe for my hair naturally curly hair?
Yes, any product in the lineup is safe to use for naturally curly hair.

Can ladies with chemically processed hair use the new 7 Day Keratin Smooth System?
Yes, it is also safe to use on chemically processed hair, you may want to consider using little more of the product than normal to overcome the damage of hair that caused by chemicals.

What makes 7 Day Keratin Smooth System unique to other brands?

Is the Tresemme Keratin Smooth line for you?

I have been on my hair journey (doing my hair on my own) for a year now. One of my biggest issues has been frizz! I would straighten my hair and within the hour my hair would curl right back up. It's so frustrating. I'm always on the hunt to find something to maintain the frizz.

Before I got started, Gino Vivacqua, Tresemme's Technical Activation Specialist answered a few of my burning questions. I`ve never used keratin and I was afraid it would damage my hair.

1. What is keratin? Any of a class of tough, fibrous proteins that are the main structural component of hair, nails, horns, feathers and hooves. Keratins are rich in sulphur containing amino acids.
   
   
2. Is it safe for my hair?
   Yes, safe for your hair. Keratin is naturally found in hair, so it is a good thing to have in a product for your hair... We have done lots of consumer testing with our Keratin Smooth range and all are safe for consumers.
   
   
3. Can ladies with chemically processed hair use the new Smooth Line?
   Well hair that is chemically processed is severely damaged i.e. dry and feels rough. TRESemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo gently cleanses (lower sulfate formula). Keratin Smooth Conditioner and Serum have a high level of conditioning agents which nourish your hair to leave it smooth, soft, shiny, manageable and with less frizz.
   
   
4. What makes the new smooth line unique to other brands?
   The shampoo has less sulfate than many other shampoos in the market today; the keratin in the products – again, not many others have keratin products; proven frizz protection for up to 48 hours.
