Maybelline- Total Temptation Makeup Collection + PICS

As I state almost every day(tears), I have given up wearing lash extensions until 2019. I’ve pretty much been wearing them straight on and off since the middle of 2015 (when I got married).

I’m not gonna lie I miss how easy and effortless it was getting ready in the morning or having to attend an event was. I hardly had to do anything. I'd fix my brows, eyeliner, find good lip colour and I was set. But personally.... it all comes down to having to spend quite a few dollars a month. Which ends up being $1000+. I could go on a vacation with all that cash!

Anyways back to the point, I have been on the hunt for a good mascara for a while! One brand that always is on top of the drugstore lash game is ALWAYS Maybelline. If I’ve ever been in bind "lash wise" I was always able to go to Shopper's Drug Mart -find a Maybelline mascara that works.

Today's mascara of the day is from their Total Temptation Collection-Total Temptation Mascara ($7.96 CAN Walmart). First off !!!! Let me say this brush is REALLY really nice! I know for a while we could not get away from seeing plastic bristles on every mascara wand. Which I’m still a fan of but nothing beats a good old-fashioned bristles.

Arbonne: Smoothed Over Lipstick - SWATCHES

I know that I'm behind on swatches but please forgive me!
When I heard that Arbonne had some new lipsticks, I really wanted to try them.
I really LOVED Arbonne's eyebrow basic brow combos so I had high hopes for the new lipsticks.

I'm so used to wearing matte lipsticks that when I get something hydrating- I'm so shook up! These babies have the attributes of a balm but with the power of a lipstick. I know it sounds odd but wait until you see the swatches. One word to describe them: SMOOTH.
Arbonne: Smoothed Over Lipsticks ($29.00 CAN)

I'm loving L'oreal Colour Caresse- Violet Chiffon

I have been receiving a lot of twitter questions about the lipstick that I was wearing in my Ben Nye Post.

It's L'oreal Colour Caresse by Colour Riche - Violet Chiffon
Colour Caresse by Color Riche is formulated with L'Oreal's revolutionary Lightfeel System to deliver a feather-light finish without being sticky or heavy.
I can't believe it took me soooo long to share this with you all.
I've been in love with these line since early this year. L'oreal has always made some of my favorite
lipsticks and the Colour Caresse line is so exception. It was literally LOVE at first swatch.
Violet chiffon is a gorgeous wearable purple. It applies like butter!
Very smooth with a beautiful pigmented finish.
I love lipsticks but sometimes you just need something that is not heavy.
This is definitely what I would look for.
Doesn't matter what skin tone you are it's a universally flattering shade.

GRATiAE Exfoliating Body Scrub & Body Butter

As a child, I remember my mother having the most luxurious cream and perfume bottles.
Now that I'm older, I totally understand why.

I know I'm not the only one who buys things because of the packaging!
It totally makes you feel good.

That's how I felt when I received GRATiAE.
.
GRATIAE is a skin care line that has been designed with one purpose in mind: anti-aging. It successfully makes use of Gratiae's thermal spring water and combines it with exclusive materials, flora native to the Sea of Galilee and organic plants.
I remember taking the products out of the box and my mother "ohh-ing" and "ahh-ing" about how
great the packaging looks without knowing about the contents.

Exfoliating Body Scrub - Passion Fruit & Lime
This refreshing body scrub exfoliates and cleanses the skin, leaving you feeling invigorated and revitalized. It accelerates blood circulation and leaves your skin refreshed and soft.

I was totally not expecting literal sugar.
It's best to take some out add a few drops of water and scrub in a circular motion.

Body Butter - Passion Fruit and Ginger
This silky body butter is a rich, creamy, all-over body moisturizer formulated with natural and organic ingredients. Easily absorbed into the skin, it conditions, softens, and prevents dryness.

This is a very rich butter. It melts into your skin without any greasy residue.
I don't think I've ever used a body butter like this before! I'm very impressed.
When applying it make sure to fully moisturize it into your skin and feel your hands after.

Look at my before & after:
Overall, if you're comfortable with paying a little more for a luxurious product I'd recommend GRATiAE.
I promise that you will be happy with your decision!

Anastasia Beverly Hills See or Be Seen Kit + Swatches

Lately, I have been seeing reviews/swatches of this Anastasia Beverly Hills See or Be Seen Kit popping up all over the bloggersphere.

It's amazing to see how the colors show up on different skin tones.

I will admit.. I've never tried anything from Anastasia Beverly Hills before. I thought the whole line was dedicated to brow products.

This kit was the perfect way to try out some products from line that I would not be exposed to.

This kit consists of:
Illumin8 Eyeshadow Duo in On Set
This eyeshadow duo felt like velvety smooth butter.
I can't get over how well the colors blended together.
The color is also very flattering on every skin tone.

*****

Hydrafull Gloss in (Top) Plastic & Heiress (Bottom)
It's hard to get pink glosses to show up on my lips sometimes but these showed up perfectly.
I'd recommend them because they're pigmented and hydrating.
Perfect shades for the summer!

The applicator was a little tricky to use at first.
TIP: Dab on the color, don't swipe it.

*****

 Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel

I wish that the kit came with a clear gel. This color was not suitable for me.
I'll be putting it into my kit because it may work for one of my clients.

Seen and Be Seen Makeup Kit: The limited edition See and Be Seen makeup kit is available exclusively at Sephora and Anastasia.net and retails for $44 (with an $80 value)

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream waterproof colors #24 & #26 swatches

One of the most popular Make Up For Ever products is their Aqua Cream colors.
A must have because they are pigmented, creamy and long lasting.
Just in time for summer, Make Up For Ever is launching four new colors-
lime green, purple, baby blue and bright yellow.
Aqua Cream is a completely smudge-proof, tear-proof, waterproof cream color that won’t crease, run or transfer. It gives intense payoff with a highly pigmented formula that ensures the colorful, pearly hues show up on skin while the soft, silky texture allows it to glide effortlessly onto eyelids, cheeks and lips. The formula includes evaporating oils to help fix the pigments on skin for impeccable hold, and a special filmogen polymer that encapsulates the pigments to keep moisture out and render them waterproof.
#24 Matte Vibrant Yellow
#26 Violet Sheen
These are gorgeous!
The colors are buildable and can be worn alone.
Work quickly when using them because when they set they don't budge.
I also want to add that these aqua creams are used by the Canadian Olympic Synchro team.
If these are good enough for strenuous physical exercise underwater, they will definitely work for you!

Canadian Face of the Day featuring Annabelle & Marcelle

Happy Canada Day!

To Celebrate it's only right to share a look I did featuring Canadian brand Annabelle & Marcelle.
I shared this look in a previous post but now I will share details on what I used!

I have reviewed a lot of Annabelle & Marcelle products on my blog in the past. If someone asks me which products are definate must haves, I would recommend: Annabelle Smoothies & Marcelle Waterproof eyeliners.

The smoothies can be used as over the eye as a highlighter, shadow or liner. Once they set, they don't budge. To top it off they are crease free & waterproof.

The color I used is called melonade. I use it in my inner corners daily. I also blend it out as a highlighter.

The waterproof eyeliners comes in 16 colors!
I chose Electric Blue because it compliments my skin tone.

Happy Canada Day!

Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll on Kit

Veet has come out with an awesome new product that will make your life much easier. Possibly eliminating your time at the spa... which may result in you having more money for the finer things like sandals and accessories.

Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll on Kit.
Claims: Convenient & easy.
My kit was specially designed for the arms & legs.
Experience:
I thought the set up was easy and clean. My only issue was the warm up time. The set up time on the information sheet stated 20 minutes. I had to wait double the time for the wax to become fully "melted' the first time.
If you are in a rush remember the setup time will vary.
It could be a 10 minutes or more for warm up.

Once I got it going, It was smooth sailing. The wax was a great constancy.. not too stick or thin. The best part was the fact that it didn't hurt. When you are at home you can do everything at your own pace. In other words you do want you can depending on your pain tolerance.
I have a very LOW pain tolerance so that is a big pro.

Overall I would recommend this product to any lady who is new to at home waxing.
If you have patience for the warm up, I promise the wait is worth it.

Would you try out this product?
