New HARD CANDY COSMETICS Collection

I know Fall is coming.... and frankly I don't want to speak about it. Let me stay in "Summer".
For the first time in a while, I got my hands on some Hard Candy products. Some are hits and some are misses. I picked the four that would catch your eye if you were in-store.

Spiced Beauty Giveaway: ebeauty.ca Canadian Giveaway A Day 5: Eyes

This is the last giveaway sponsored by ebeauty.ca. I hope you all enjoyed them! I know that they were all Canadian based but my Usa/International followers hold tight things are coming very soon like my 3 year bloggerversary!

Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color swatches

I had the chance to try six Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color for Spiced Beauty. Although they looked amazing, I had no idea how they would look on me.

Would they be cheap, non-pigmented or low quality?

After my first swatch, I couldn't believe how they were the complete opposite of my thoughts.

I wear mostly mattes and we all know how chalky and unflattering they can be but these have quickly become my favorites. Let's get on with the swatches!

What color is your favorite?

FOTD: White eyeliner & Red lips

This look is clean & polished and perfect for a night out..Currently I have nowhere to go, so walmart will do..LOL

I have really almond shaped eyes, so when I'm tired it shows. I love white eyeliner because it opens them up.

I was often told WOC shouldn't use white because it's too harsh but it's totally up to personal preference. If it looks good do it :)

Products used:
Brows-
NYX pencil in Dark Brown

Eyes-
Brian Bailey Cosmetics duo in Caramel
Smashbox Eye Brighter
L.A Girl pencil in White
Maybelline gel liner in Blackest Black & 24 hour mascara

So what do you think about white eyeliner or red lips?

Annabelle Glitterama Liquid Eyeliner: Reviews+Swatches

I was sent two Glitterama Liquid Eyeliners to review from Annabelle Cosmetics. Let me start off by saying I've NEVER used glitter near my eyes before! So this was my first time experimenting.

Glitterama Liquid Eyeliners:
Its long wearing formula is loaded with sparkling micro-glitter particles that catch and reflect the light. Its fine, tapered brush applicator picks up the maximum amount of sparkles and distributes the eyeliner smoothly and evenly.
The most important keywords are "micro-glitter". Products with micro sized glitter are safe to use near the eyes.

Close up of the colors: Violet Venus & Solar Flare

These colors are very pigmented. At first I was scared that I wouldn't be able to control the amount of glitter that comes out but these liners are buildable.

Swatches after 1 swipe.

Swatches after 3 swipes.

These liners can be used over nude eyes or over eyeshadow. Overall there perfect for a night out on the town!

Annabelle Smudgeliner Review

Annabelle Cosmetics is a Canadian makeup brand driven by its passion for colour and texture.

With their superior long-lasting formula and rich colour pay-off, Annabelle Smudgeliners are a must-have to add depth to any look! Let them glide to create a defined line, or blend gently with the built-in smudger tip to achieve a smoky, sultry look.

Even though Annabelle is a drugstore line, I think that it is VERY comparable to MAC.

The Smudgeliners come in 12 different colors. I got the opportunity to try three colors(Check out the swatches):
  • Sea Green
  • Electric Sapphire
  • Ohmygoth!

I am honestly in love. I know these are called smudgeliners but they don't smudge unless you smudge them. The tips are creamy and don't tug or pull your eye when applying.

Since I wake up at 6:30 AM.. these liners are the easiest to apply. You can control the size of the tip. I either sharpen mine to a pointy tip for a thin line or use it regularly for a thicker line.

I do not recommend sharpening the pencils in a regular sharper. Get the Annabelle single sharper to sharpen the pencils because they sharpen smoothly :)

PLUS the cleaning stick helps ALOT!

On the other end of the pencil is a rubber smudger. I've had a bad experience with a previous smudger almost blinding me..haha. But this one was soft and makes a great smokey eye!

My favorite liner of them all is Ohmygoth! It's the best black to make brown eyes pop! I'll take a FOTD this week :)

Overall I would buy these for myself and my MUA kit!
