How to get your toddler to wear a mask on the plane

The pandemic has changed a lot of things for us, hasn't it? From product shortages to Zoom conferences, it seems that everything in our lives have been impacted in some way. One recent things is that the mask ban has been lifted. But when it comes to flying in Canada- Masks are STILL needed for the whole flight.
For us grown ups, it can be hard enough to keep it on, but for the little ones? It seems to be impossible. I mean, it's hard enough to get them to keep their socks on!

So here are 3 tips for teaching your toddler how to properly wear their mask on an airplane.

Let's Talk: Screen time

Tricky subject! Screen Time.
Before Ava it was a HELL NO. Now It's a must... in moderation.

I spoke with Parenting Educator & Former Elementary School Teacher, Laura Linn Knight on tips for screen time. Pull up a seat and take notes!

How to Take Professional-Looking Toddler and Baby Photos at Home

Toddlers are absolutely the cutest thing in the world! Especially mine! Ava is an absolute doll. You might be interested in getting more professional pictures of their cuteness but need some help. After all, they'll be grown before you know it, why not preserve this moment of time before it's gone?
But professional photographs are expensive, right?

Doing a DIY photoshoot of your kid might seem daunting,
but it can be really fun to do!

Five Places You Should Take Your Toddler This Summer

This is going to be a different summer (ignore the fact that it's almost done) ... I'm low-key stressing with COVID around but overall we have to still get out. I know that a lot of us are wondering what to do with your toddler this summer. Ava just turned two and is super active.
There is no daycare and honestly we're trying our best to keep her busy.

I did a lot of research and found 5 places you can take your child where you both will enjoy yourselves.

REVIEW: Dreambaby Mayfair Converta 3-in-1 Playpen Gate

The best thing about being a parent is watching your little one grow up. Every new milestone is exciting! Ava Rose is so smart! I just love the way how she catches on to things. Their process of learning how to crawl is no exception, even if it is the “belly/military” crawl (like what she is doing). The scary part is that it makes you realize just how dangerous your house is.

Without giving out my full details I live in a decent sized townhouse that has a open concept kitchen/living room/dining room. Not my first choice- but the best choice that my husband and I had at the time. We totally didn’t think it through if we had kids...

Back to the baby: My 11.5 month-old has been crawling a lot lately. And getting into EVERYTHING! The one thing about her is that she quite quick! I don’t know where she got it from but if she sees something she likes... she goes for it. It's adorable....until she heads toward the TV unit, or the stairs. Pretty sure that if we leave her be- she'll crawl her way right out the front door altogether.

I’m so happy that I was introduced to Dreambaby. They graciously gave me the opportunity to chose a gate of my choice for Ava. When my husband and I started researching we looked into everything and a Play-Pen Gate was the best option. More specifically, we went with the Mayfair 3-in 1 Play-Pen Gate
