Day 5: V-day Lips OCC Liptar in Strumpet

I had to end my v-day lip series with the color I will be wearing for my valentines Day dinner: OCC Liptar in Strumpet! I think i'm going to wear a little black dress.. so this color will definitely pop :)

This is a show stopping matte red that is not drying. As you can see from the picture it doesn't settle in the creases or chap my lips.. SCORE!

 Fusion of Color Lipstick in Valentine is a lippy that I would keep in my kit because it suits every skin tone!

Day 3: V-day Lips MAC Heartless Lipstick

The name Heartless is definitely not appropriate for a v-day look...... unless your a gold digger!!! LOL I'm joking... The name is crazy but the color is AMAZING.

Mac Heartless was from the Venomous Villains Collection back in 2010. This was one collection I didn't pass up!

Heartless is a Cherry Red (Amplified formula). 

 Amplified means:

 *Glides on smoothly

*non- drying 

*highly pigmented 

*stays on for hrs without drying out lips 

This color is gorgeous! Perfect for girl trying to transition to lipstick from glosses.

Day 2: V-day Lip Fusion of Color Fuji lip gloss

This post is for the girls who thought that my Day 1 V-day lip post was too much...lol. I toned it down by only using a red gloss from Fusion of Color.

Fuji is a sheer red gloss with a bit of a sparkle.

For reference I only used about 3 coats.

Day 1: V-day Lips Sally Hansen Moist & Matte Liquid Color in Charmeuse

My 7 day long series will be all about the lips! After years of seeing bloggers/yters in wearing reds, berries and plums.. I felt like I could work it too. I took baby steps starting with glosses working my way to lipsticks.

Sally Hansen Moist & Matte Liquid Color in Charmeuse is perfect if you plan on making a BOLD statement. 

Every time I see this color it gives me an "OMG this looks AMAZING" feel LOL

Update: Growing out the bangs, Pinky Nude lips + Week long blog series :D

These pics were taken at 12 am! LOL.. I went to the salon today for some hair TLC. I got a deep steam treatment...which my hair need badly. 

This time I didn't cut my bangs..I think I'm going to grow them out.

I havent blogged since Wednesday! I apoligize but I wanted to gear up for my week long blog series which starts tomorrow :D

Yay!! These blog post will lead up to valentines day. Whether you celebrate it or not.. these post can just be an inspiration to try something new. I know someone is wondering what the hell I am talking about! You will just have to wait and see until tomorrow :)

I know someone will ask, my top was only $10 from H&M. I love it..reminds me of a vintage piece. In other words my grandma probably had one just like it LOL! I know you cant see the whole thing so I'll do an OOTD with it soon :)

The Pinky nude lip I'm wearing is the Sally Hansen Natural Butter Lip shine. I got it at Dollar Tree for a dollar of course. I could kick myself for not buying a few back ups! The color is gorgeous and the price is RIGHT!

Hard Candy Haul+ HD Swatches

This is actually my second time trying out their products: Click here for my previous haul.

Its good to know that you can get good quality makeup and not break the bank.

 I shot these swatches with my HD camera because it's always better to know how the product is in true color before you purchase.

Meteor Eyes - Baked Meteor Eyeshadow in Outer Space

Baked glitter eyeshadows.

Very pretty gunmetal black with micro glitter. This color would be perfect for a smokey eye. These pictures were taken with the shadow DRY.

**The picture on the left is with flash & the one on the right is no flash.

Mouthing Off - Sheer Lip Shine in Exotic

Gives lips glistening, sheer color with maximum shine. Gloriously glossy sheers form shimmering to sparkling. 

 This color is a gorgeous shimmering Orange. Not too shimmery just perfect.  It would look amazing paired with the Outer Space shadow. Hmmm... Maybe I should do a Face of the Day with it?

Glitz Stick - Sparkling Crayon

Super chunky crayons of translucent color are laced with glitter and can be worn on eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Blend for sheer, subtle, shimmer effect or layer with shadow, blush or lipstick for dense glitter.

I absolutely love the concept of this! I don't make any mess with this "crayon" because I control the amount of glitter I want :D

This is definitely a affordable brand that is worth every penny.

Do you prefer a Matte or Dewy foundation finish?

I personally prefer a matte finish. My T-zone can get really oily at times so I feel like it's better to be maintain a matte look. Here I used MAC Prowear in NW45 with a combo of  Per-Fekt Beauty Decadent skin perfector. I combat oil with Kett Sett - No-Color Setting Powder & MAC Blot Film!

One of these days I plan on going "Dewy" ...maybe summer. 

I think if I spray some Fix+ or Charge water on my face, it should do the trick.

FOTD: Cat Eyeliner & Glossy Plum Lips

Photos don't do this look justice! It was amazing up close. *SIGH* This is the look I wore to my bf's friends b-day. I was totally unsure what to look to do but I knew I need something simple with little touch ups.

I used my Eve Pearl 104- Eyeliner brush to draw that perfect cat eye flick! First starting at the edge then bringing it inwards.
