Let's talk: Wedding Invitations- Part #2

My invites are here!
I know that it's suggested to send them out three to four months before.
We opted for something much earlier because we have a small list.

After getting all the information I needed, I decided to go forward with ordering on elegantweddinginvites.com.

As a bride on a budget, I liked that all of there invitations came with free response cards, free outer envelopes and return envelopes. Not an extra cost. Plus they can print your return address onto the envelopes for free as well. That's a huge savings! Other companies were charging me high fees for RSVP cards and other customizations
.

Paper type was important to me. Elegant wedding invitations had three options to choose from. Since gold is the main colour in my wedding. So I decided to go with Pearl Luster Cardstock.

Made in Italy, this thick 115lb card features a smooth and silky surface that offers a luxurious hand-feel. It is the thickest of the three card-stocks and offers a more durable and smooth texture.

I was surprised to see that the outer envelopes were pearl luster as well!
I expected plain white envelopes and was pleasantly surprised.

Customization was also big for me. I had no idea where to start. On their site they had wording examples to assist you with wording etiquette. It's important that the wording on the invite is clear and easy to read. Also it must sound like you!

Lastly, they were able to change the colour, font, wording at no extra cost. I was emailed eproofs for approval. I might have changed my mind 4 times! Eproof are important because you get to see your exact product before it gets to your door.

Honestly, pictures don't do this enclosure any justice. You can kinda see the pearl luster pocket reflecting in the sun. The pocket opens up to reveal my invitation, rsvp card, reception card and rsvp envelope.

I did remove my wedding date from the front of the invite.
