I'm ready for Spring. Like really READY. I'm sooo tired of wearing this big jacket everywhere and not being able to show off my pedi (first world problems). I have been playing around with a lot of Spring makeup daily. Mary Kay was one of the first companies to kick off Spring for me. The first thing that caught my eye was the Limited-Edition Glossy Lip Oil.
This innovative lip oil provides a comfortable application with a non-sticky, luminous shine.
If you follow me on instagram- I got a really good response from everyone regarding the colours.
Left to right:
Sheer Pink
Magenta Ray
Brilliant Violet
Structure
Typical squeeze tube with slated "fluffy" tip for application.
PRO- It looks like there is a lot of product in the tube.
Texture
Now the interesting part. The term lip oil...
I need to revise that term in my head...
These are made with grapeseed, avocado and jojoba oils but it's not the
viscosity of olive oil or sunflower oil.
viscosity of olive oil or sunflower oil.
I would describe this as more as a creamy lip colour.
BUT.. that doesn't mean that the product isn't a good one.
For me (and others like me), it just means don't expect the texture/feeling of an oil because it gives you a totally different vibe.
Colour
Wearing- Brilliant Violet
Pigmentation wise...It's good. I will admit for me. 2/3 colours are not for me.
But I can totally see them being more flattering on a light/medium skin tone.
