Arbonne: Smoothed Over Lipstick - SWATCHES

I know that I'm behind on swatches but please forgive me!
When I heard that Arbonne had some new lipsticks, I really wanted to try them.
I really LOVED Arbonne's eyebrow basic brow combos so I had high hopes for the new lipsticks.

I'm so used to wearing matte lipsticks that when I get something hydrating- I'm so shook up! These babies have the attributes of a balm but with the power of a lipstick. I know it sounds odd but wait until you see the swatches. One word to describe them: SMOOTH.
Arbonne: Smoothed Over Lipsticks ($29.00 CAN)

There are 16 shades in the line. Each shade has a satin glossy finish.
I should also add that these are vegan formulated without gluten, parabens and dermatologist tested.

Left to right: Lily, Gladiola & Orchid.

One of the claims of the lipsticks are that it has botanical levels that can make your lips look plumper and smoother. I didn't really see that. Then again I'm blessed with plump lips already. But one of my favourite things about this was the balm feeling.

I don't want to go into terminology about the ingredients but if you want to know more about what hyaluronic acid, peptides and the polymers do in this product check it out here: Arbonne Lipsticks

Now onto the swatches.

I'll be honest, I am more of a creme satin finish girl then a frost/shimmer girl. Two out of three of the lipsticks I was sent had bit of front/shimmer in them. But I'll let you definitely be the judge if it's for me!

  2. I definitely would love Gladiola! I have a very weird relationship with lipstick: I want them to be creamy, but also to stay on for pretty much the entire day.
