the last foundation i bought, i spent $44 on. i dont know that i'd go above that unless i knew it was really great for me! i need to to control oil and not transfer for pay above that.
WOW, that is a lot of money. As long as it is worth it, then it's good. I just bought 2 drugstore foundation. I rarely wear any, so I wanted to try it out. Both cost me under 20 I think. HAHA
I am willing to splurge on foundation. I find that it is often worth the money and consider it the most important part of your makeup. You need a good base for everything else to look good.
I don't want to spend more than $40 including tax. But if there's a holy grail out there then I might just consider over $40 but I don't wear foundation everyday anymore.
I don't think it's crazy. I also spend up to $60 per bottle but I also have many bottles in rotation. I wear foundation everyday so it's justified for me :)
The last foundation I purchased was the most expensive ($50) and actually caused the worst breakout of my life. I had to go to a derm, and while its clearing up its been several months and I still have problems.

ReplyDeleteI'm open to spending upwards of $50 bucks for a foundation but if it's a perfect match and blends well I might, might spend more :-)
