Currently Obsessed: Maybelline New York TattooStudio™ Waterproof Eyebrow Gel

It’s been a while since I posted a currently obsessed product! During my pregnancy, I used very few products. Girl... but the ones that I used- I loved! I literally ran them into the ground. I need to stock up ASAP.

At the moment, I don’t really wear a lot of make up. Newborn life has taken over (there will be an update on that soon).... but one of the number one things that I need decent if I leave the house is my brows.

A few Months ago Maybelline sent their New York TattooStudio™ Waterproof Eyebrow Gel over. Have you seen the commercials?

The claims are amazing:
- Waterproof
- Smudge-proof
- Does not transfer

Do the claims work for me?
Number One: It sticks really well to my thick brow hairs. Plus it also lasts all day for me! I can NOT talk to the claims which some users state that they can wear it for 48 hours. I wash my face EVERY DAY and not ready to risk my skin for that one. I'm just saying!

How do I remove?

I use an exfoliating cleansing wipe to remove as much as I can before I wash my face. These particular wipes are kinda bumpy (which makes it exfoliating). It makes it so much easier to remove. Then I use a liquid cleanser to take off the rest.

ANOTHER option: Use coconut oil or cleansing oil to remove.

How do I use it?

With a brow pencil. That’s step number one! The pencil is to outline/define.

Right now, I can’t keep up with my brow appointments. I puck a lot in between appointments. Even with my maintenance- I still can’t get all the small hairs or prevent minor mishaps. So this Eyebrow Gel is Godsend! I use the doe foot applicator to lightly brush the colour into my brows. It also fills in sparse hair without looking patchy.

TIP: If the doe foot applicator isn't for you. Try using an angled brow brush to apply the product directly to your brows. You will probably be able to skip the pencil if you do this!
