It’s the bra’s 100th anniversary this year, and Triumph discovered 76% of the world’s women are still wearing the wrong size bra.
I believe that percentage. In my opinion, it's hard for some women to find a bra size at times because our bodies are always changing. We gain/lose weight, hormones, pregnancy and after child birth.
I can wear a certain size at H&M and go into The Bay and get a totally different size. It's annoying but we need to come to a realization that something has to change.
Here are 5 sure signs that you're wearing the incorrect bra size:
- Your underwire is sticking out.
- You’re overflowing out of your cup.
- The center of your bra does not rest on your skin.
- The cups are sagging or baggy.
- You’re in pain.
I know that someone who reads this has their head down in shame. I think it's time to visit a Bra Fitting Stylist. Think of them as your fairy God"Bra"mother.
To book a personal fitting with an expert Triumph Bra Stylist at select Hudson’s Bay locations, email: bra.fittings.ca@triumph.com. Please let me know how it goes!
Good Luck!
I used to wear the wrong size for years, atleast every since I started wearing it. I felt very uncomfortable in fitted clothes because of this reason, because my "awesomeness" kept looking like rolls in the back. So I went and got a proper fitting and realized that I was always wearing the wrong cup size.. -_-
ReplyDeleteThere is also the fact that in our area, people dont even consider what cup size they are. I have heard my mom asking her to buy her a bra when she goes shopping, and she says..'oh and my size 38' just that.
And her size was 38 back in the time she had me. they dont even consider the fact that their body changes... :O
Thank you sooo much for sharing!
DeleteI hate bra shopping lol. Great post!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
Deletethanks!
I agree with the stats too. I was wearing the wrong size for YEARS (wore a 36D when my actual size is 34DDD/E). I find some places will downplay your size so you buy your bra from their store :(
ReplyDeleteI agree with the second part sooo much!
