This post is in partnership with buybuy BABY. All opinions here are my own.
As a new mom, I won’t lie preparing for the first baby is overwhelming. I can only imagine if I was having multiples! I’m a natural born planner. I’m basically the type of person that wants to be prepared for everything. I am currently 8 months into my journey and I can tell you babies require a lot and sometimes the smallest things can be overlooked. That’s why it’s always good to have a knowledgeable support system around you.
When it came to picking products for “Baby A-R”... I’m not going to lie - I didn’t know where to start. It’s almost like every day something new comes out and you debate … “Do I need that instead”. After speaking to my sister-in-law I found out about buybuy BABY.
This is all before getting the opportunity to work with them.

If you have never heard of buybuy BABY.. I want to be the first person to tell you that you NEED to check it out! Go in and create a registry! In my opinion, it’s totally ok to have multiple registries. Just don’t repeat the same product on both! But certain places just have a selection that you truly cannot get anywhere else.
Honestly, all you have to do is walk into one of their stores and you will truly be amazed at their selection, store cleanliness (super important) and support. Just remember these posts points as I go through my blog post.
My husband and I decided to register at their Woodbridge location. I literally had no idea what to expect. All I remember is walking in the doors and my husband looking at me like he knew I was going to go crazy in the store. One of the selling features for me (in this particular location) is once you walk in the doors- the buybuy BABY registry is to your right. You don’t have to go through the whole store looking for assistance. You literally walk in and 9 times out of 10 there is someone ready to assist you.
We went over the initial information would you need for your registry. Then we were given a price gun to scan items that we would like on our registry. I should also add that if you were overwhelmed like me they also gave you a checklist to help you out when choosing items. Or if a checklist was not enough- they offer someone from their staff to also walk around with you to share essentials/products that are commonly used. Sometimes you want to buy all shiny items in store but it’s always good to have somebody there asking you what your needs are to determine if that is even for you.
Updating my baby registry! |
One thing to know about the store is that it’s broken up into different sections. You got an area that is totally dedicated to clothing! Please quote me on this! Probably some of the best clothing options that I’ve seen for little girls. Yes, I’m biased but you know!
So many little sleepers! Long sleeved, short sleeved... I could go on and on! |
Perfect Canadian Summer baby outfit! |
Then you have an area dedicated just to feeding.
Then bath, baby furniture, swings, bedding, I could go on.
The best part is I knew that if any of my family members or friends came in to buy a gift for me - it will be super easy for them to pick something off the list. Just find the area/product needed. And of course, I knew that there would definitely be staff members along the way who could help them with their search.
Lastly, at the end of your purchase, there’s also very cute DIY gift wrapping station!
That’s totally free!

What an adorable nursery set up! That accent wall is my favourite. |

Another selling feature for new moms would be the goody bag you get after you finish your registry. Again I’m so new to this... So it was great getting products that I can go home and research. Also definitely a good reward after scanning all those products. Haha!
Giftbags for NEW Canadian moms! |
On my second trip: I love the fact that the staff created a table for me with some essential must-haves! Isn't that so adorable! So helpful for any first-time moms out there looking for products to add to their registry.
The staff did a great job setting up the 6 month baby essentials table for me! |
Overall my experience was really good!
Never once did I feel overwhelmed in the store because there was A LOT of staff to assist me. Plus the prices are pretty good. If you see a product out there at another retailer for a cheaper price... guess what they price match!!!

Have you tried any of the baby products that I showed in the pictures above?
If so, message me and tell me.
I'm not a mom, but my nieces parents loved the back packs! So much more convenient than shoulder bags. I'll share this info with other new moms I know too! :-)
