Easy Fun Easter Activities for the Family

Every year I try to come up with new and exciting activities built around Easter. This year I have created my top three family fun Easter activities that all can join in to create memories. But, most of all this holiday is near and dear to my heart because it is the celebration of Jesus- which is important to teach our kids!

Family Fun Easter Activities

In brainstorming for my little warriors that love anything that is hands-on. Over the weekend, I used construction paper, finger paints, cotton balls, raisins and glue. We started with the dipping their
hands to create bunny handprints topped with raisins for the nose. Then using the cotton for the tips of the fingers. You can also outline the letter B for bunny teaching them their ABC’s.

My next adventure was the outdoor fetch of eggs. My boys absolutely loved this. I decided to incorporate the story of Easter so they know the true meaning. I suggest if you have older kids maybe do a night fetch with glow in the dark eggs they will love that with flash lights.

I tend to find myself tired with two active toddler boys so I must come up with creative ideas that captivate their attention for longer than ten minutes! My final activity I really enjoyed was creating crosses with popsicle sticks and buttons and glue.

I hope these helped but feel free to add more or even get creative with goodies like candies. For me it would be a fight with two little ones so I keep it simple but enjoy creating family Easter memories!
