3 Easy Ways to Sneak More Water in Your Life

Literally everybody needs it to live and it's an essential part of our daily lives. If you aren’t drinking enough water, the signs will show up in your body real quick! It can cause a laundry list of issues. List me list a few: bad breath, constipation, frequent illness, fatigue, and poor skin. NONE of what we want or need during this time... well anytime to be honest. But I understand, sometimes it's really easy to forget to drink water everyday!

If that’s your case, you can try out these three tips to help you get more water in your diet.

Eat More Fruits and Veggies
Fruits and vegetables contain a large amount of water, and we all know the endless benefits to adding these superfoods to your diet consistently. If you forget to drink those 8 cups of water one day, grab some delicious fruit or a healthy veggie to help you reach the required amount. Watermelon, strawberries, grapefruit and cantaloupe are made up of over 90% of water alone! You will definitely be hydrating your body by enjoying them as snacks.

Use Water Additives
If you have a hard time drinking a lot of water because of the taste then you should definitely try adding flavours to it. I like adding fruit to my water. There’s just something about that tangy flavour I love! You can add other things like veggies or even water flavouring products that can easily make water more appealing to you.

Get a Cool Water Bottle
There are a bunch of really awesome water bottles out in the market these days that can motivate you to drink throughout the day. You can buy one that’s pretty and has a nice aesthetic that makes you feel stylish and excited to use it. There are even high tech bottles that track your intake and notify you when you should be drinking from it. Whatever you decide to do, you should make sure that drinking more water becomes an end goal that you accomplish. It’s possible with effort and the benefits to your body and health are priceless!

Which one of these tips do you want to try out?

  1. Sometimes the cool water bottle really does the trick! Haha. As funny as it is to think that that is all we might need to enjoy more water. These are good tips!

  2. These are all great ideas. I’ve done the “cool” water bottle one. Well, it wasn’t cool...it just held 64 oz of water so I didn’t have to keep refilling it all day. Not having to get it and refill a bottle several times a day helped me. Also, have a water drinking app that will remind you to drink water. Those are what did it for me.
