Rimmel Glam’eyes HD Eyeshadow - Product Rave

Here is a quad that I am excited to share with you all from Rimmel. It's the Rimmel Glam’eyes HD Eyeshadow! What really got me is the "HD" factor. A lot of brands claim that they are HD but fail in comparison to this quad.

Velvet-HD technology: prismatic pigments in the powder catch light at multiple angles, reflecting the perfect colour for the light you are in. Now that’s what we call flattering! And great news – the crease-resistant colour wears for up to 10 hours, so no need for touch-ups.

Quad breakdown
  • They come in eight different color coordinated patterns.
  • Can be used Wet/Dry.
  • EXTREMELY Pigmented.
  • Long lasting.
  • $7.95 Canadian per quad.
SWATCHES:

Gorgeous quad! I can't wait to try out the other colors.

Have you seen these in stores?

Marcelle Cosmetics Favs: Hydra-C Ultra-Light Matifying Fluid & Soothing Cleansing Water

As a Canadian Beauty Blogger I love highlighting Canadian beauty products. Marcelle is not a stranger to Spiced Beauty! I've been blogging about them since early 2010.

It is been a pretty "hot" fall and I'm still OILY!!

Lovely Isabelle from Marcelle read my mind when she sent me the Hydra-C Ultra-Light Matifying Fluid!

Since I don't wear foundation daily I really needed to invest in a GOOD matifier!

I remember when I tried it out the first time. For some reason I thought it would be dry like a primer but it wasn't. It was wet! I freaked out! Within seconds it dried to matte finish.

Definitely a recommend if your a oily blogger like myself LOL

Good Stuff: The formula rich in antioxidants, vitamins C, E and B5, aloe vera and cucumber extract.

Last but not least Marcelle Soothing Cleansing Water!

I wear liner & mascara daily so removal is a serious issue for me.. especially after a LONG day!

This was my first time using Cleansing water and I'm a fan. I'm so surprised how water can clean off all my makeup even the waterproof stuff!!

I don't have to rub my eyes profusely like the oil based removers. It`s funny but once the oil gets into your eyes..its over..

My method - I soak a cotton pad with Soothing Cleansing Water and saturate it on the lid. If I have more time I do a extra foam cleanse, if not, since its a soothing water I just go to bed.

Good Stuff: Rinse-free formula that micro-emulsifies impurities and waterproof make-up without irritating skin, gentle for even the driest and most sensitive complexions.

L’Oreal Color Infallible Eye Shadows Swatches

After speaking to a few bloggers, it has come to my attention that the L’Oreal Color Infallible Eye Shadows are only available in Canada & UK right now. Since I have some of the collection, I thought it would be nice to swatch them for you all!
Infallible Eyeshadows contain ultra concentrated colour pigments, for an intense colour finish. Additional binders (oils) coat and magnify the colour pigments revealing beautiful shimmer and maximized colour. The colour adheres to the eyelid as durably and comfortably as a second skin and lasts for up to 24hrs.

Since I have nine shadows from this collection, this will be a picture heavy post.

All Night Blue
Rich Royal Blue
Unlimited Sky
Powder Blue
Hourglass Beige
Rich off white
Time Resist White
Pearl White
Forever Pink
Pearly Pink
Burning Black
Blacken Eggplant
Purple Obssession

Lastly.. Flashback silver
**Sorry I forgot to take a pic of the package**

These pigments are the cross between a powder and cream. Apparently, they last 24 hours without a primer.
I'll be posting a look with these shadows soon :)

My Mini Nars Collection: Red Lizard, Taj Mahal & Exhibit A

I'm always getting questioned about Nars blushes. My collection is very tiny but cute. It consists of two blushes and one lipstick. I've heard nothing but good things about Nars, so of course I'd have to try them out for myself!
I think every girl should have at least one NARS blush!

Taj Mahal

This blush is super pigmented!
You can wear it alone or layer it with Exhibit A.
