Something New: Pari Beauty Review

I first saw Pari Beauty at Toronto IMATS 2010. If my mind serves me right I was introduced to a very nice lady named Antoinette :) She gave who gave myself and Yana a brief rundown on the Pari brand.
Makeup galore at the Pari booth
Unfortunately, We did not purchase anything from the booth due to our pockets being empty..lol. But I vowed I would try something one of these days. Recently I got the opportunity to try out three products.

I was dying to try out the fast Drying Brush Cleanser since I seen a demonstration at IMATS. I would recommend this brush cleanser for MUA who use a brushes on multiple clients.

I travel a lot so I poured it into a smaller bottle. Much more convenient.
  • Affordable ($10.00 CDN)
  • Big bottle for multiple use
  • Quick Drying

Brow Tamer:
Perfect for keeping your brow hairs together. I have really thick long brow hairs, so they can be a problem to tame at times. This is my first brow "gel" and I'm liking it so far. Price wise it was $12.00 but the bottle is durable(like metal) not a cheap plastic from what I am use to seeing.

Powder Blush:
This highly-pigmented pressed powder comes in matte and iridescent tones.  Its unique formula delivers long-lasting wear.
There was no legend stating which color was matte, shimmer, iridescent or whatever... I lucked out and got BO 08 which is a nice shimmery peach color.

If your into swatching and testing new makeup brands like I am..I would advise you to visit their stores in Canada:
Pari Beauty Locations
Vaughan Mills Mall (Woodbridge)
Bramalea City Centre (Brampton)
Upper Canada Mall (Newmarket)

I have been to the Bramalea City Centre (Brampton) and had the chance to swatch and get the look of the kiosk up close.
Ladies have you heard of Pari Beauty?

My first ASOS order! FREE shipping :)

This is my first time ordering of ASOS and I'm ecstatic! Not only because I found cute items..because shipping was FREE to Canada! LOL That's a rare occurrence. I'm currently trying to slowly build my summer wardrobe and these are the two items that I am starting out with:
                                                                       Love them!
What is your favorite?

FOTD: Valentine Day using Mac #38 lashes

I was debating whether or not to post this picture but I decided to celebrate wearing falsies outside for the first time. I was scared they would fall off into my salad or something. They didn't.. :D

 Mac #38 lashes
Natural style length with a wispy texture. This half lash adds subtle fullness to the outer corner of the eye

Face:
FACEatelier foundation in #11
MAC Deep Dark Mineralized Finish
Sleek blush in Sunrise & Flamingo

Eyes:
MAC #38 lashes
MUFE Smokey lash Mascara
Maybelline 24 hour gel liner in Black

Lips:
OCC Liptar in Strumpet

Do you like wearing falsies? If so what is your favorite pair?

Revlon Creme Glosses review + Swatches

In my city there is a Revlon Sale almost every week at the flea market. Since I haven't really bought any makeup this year I decided to treat myself to a few goodies. After swatching for what seems like forever I found theses babies on my way out!

What first caught my eye was the pigmentation. I prayed when I swatched it that it wouldn't be sheer and washed out.. They weren't!
The next-generation in lip gloss with both full-coverage color and extreme gloss shine. Collagen complex and light reflecting particles give lips a fuller appearance. Vitamin E and collagen condition for ultra-soft lips. Unique flow-through brush offers smooth, even application.
My girls on twitter told me that these glosses sell for $11.00+ at CVS. I just want to let you all know I got them for 4 for $10.00.

Pros:
  • Pigmented
  • Affordable (in my case)
  • Several colors to choose from
Cons:
  • You need to click slowly
OVERALL:
I would purchase again because of the price and pigmentation. In Canada it's very hard to get good quality makeup for under $3.00.

Which one is your favorite?
