High buns were in last Spring/Summer but I feel like they will make a come back this Spring/Summer. High buns are appropriate for every occasion! It all depends upon how the bun is situated on your head. Here are some great examples of cute high buns:

Hot, definetly! I have found a bun aid! If you go to Sally's beauty supply they sell a mesh foam thing that you slide down your pontail then pull your own hair around it. Its $3 and makes your bun look full and perfect. It comes in colors to so you can match your hair. It is easily secured with pins. I wish I could remember the name of it, it works great!

ReplyDeleteI have a weird shaped head. It's like a peanut shape. Small in the back, kind of like a primate. LOL & it's broad in the front. They always look odd on me. Even though my hair is APL, it looks like I don't have enough hair or am trying too hard to look youthful. Love a low slung side bun best for me. Great post. thnx 4 sharing Jenn

Amen to the bun, it let me stop with pony tails when I didn't want to let my hair down. Even a rushed bun can never do wrong.
