Get Free Glasses at ClearlyContacts.ca - Offer Ends Nov. 21

I've had the same glasses now for almost four years. My prescription was so low that my Optometrist told me that I really didn't need them. Being that I work on a dual screen computer daily, the glare really bothers me. Plus believe it or not I've always wanted a pair of glasses. Isn't that so nerdy!

The current pair I own are hot pink. Fun... but I've always wanted a toned down black pair. A girls gotta have choices! With this deal from ClearlyContacts.ca, I can get a new pair for FREE!

Do you wear glasses?

Cascatablu Fashion Show

Cheryl Gushue premièred her resort 2013 collection of Cascata Blu last Saturday during TIFF. The line features simple yet versatile designs that fit all body types in a wealth of textured, art-inspired prints. I was on hand with my photographer to check out backstage beauty & watch the show. What is Cascata Blu you ask? It's Italian for blue waterfall.

I loved the runaway look. It was a neutral face with a edgy cat eye & a bold lip. The hair was wavy and definitely gave that beach vibe. Check out the elusive shots that I got backstage:
I have to highlight the hair. The team from Kevin Murphy Hair worked it out!
They used their famous Mermaid Kit on the models.
It was the first time I've ever seen the wave clip in action.
I need these in my life!
The WAVE.CLIP is a multipurpose tool that smoothes frizz and flyways on naturally curly hair, enhancing waves to make them smoother. This clip can create smooth waves on straight hair by adding movement without frizz or flyaway’s.

Nail aesthetician Rita Remark re-created nail art to match the graphic fabrics.
The show started out with a local graffiti artist painting the model live on a stage.
I know you can't tell but it says Cascata Blu on her bathing suit.
The Cascata Blu resort 2013 collection has two different themes, Graffiti City and White Sands. They represent the balance between the urban cultures of a bustling metropolis versus the serenity of traveling to faraway destinations.

Trend: Golden Bronze and Nude Makeup

There are a few trends out there which are appropriate for all 365 days. Golden-Bronze is definitely one of them.

I've seen bronze incorporated in to EVERY Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter look.

It has been a while since I posted a beauty look. I had some brand new Golden Bronze shadows from Annabelle/Marcelle and I felt like this would be the perfect time to wear them.

To complete the look I used my Maybelline BB cream in Deep. Since I was going to an event indoors, I decided to matifiy it. Just add a squirt or two of a silicone primer to your BB cream. It works wonders!

I used my Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in 178 because I couldn't find my concealer. To highlight I used my MAC Skinsheen Bronzer Stick in Gilty Bronze to glow!

Check out what the main items I used:

This could be a easy back to school "nude" look!

Do you own a lot of Golden Bronze shades?

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Argan Oil

If you don't already know for the past two years I have transitioned from relaxed to natural. A choice I made on my own because my hair truly hated to be permed. In 2012, I started to do my hair totally on my own (washing, treatments etc). It's a serious transition from going to a salon to doing it myself but in the end, it will be worth it.

Oils are an essential to hair growth and maintenance. So far Argan oil is the ONLY oil I can use on my own hair & extensions which doesn't weight it down. What does "weighted down" hair look like you ask? It does not move, looks flat and lifeless.. Nobody wants that!

ARGAN OIL- An oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, endemic to Morocco. It is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal proterties. It improves your hair's quality, helps new hair grow more quickly and gives it strength.

Garnier has came out with a whole line dedicated to Argan oil called Sleek & Shine.
The new formula combines Morrocan Argan Oil and Aprocot to prevent bad hair days, even in humid weather, thanks to this unique three-step system that gives you long-lasting control. Its revolutionary formula loaded with intensely rich fruit oils will leave your hair spectacularly shiny and 5 times stronger and smoother.

The whole line is pretty awesome but one product has captured my heart. it's the Sleek Finish 5 in 1 serum. I know some people may have a negative opinion of serums. I can admit some brands can weight down your hair but if you find a good brand you're set! In the summer time my hair is sooo frizzy! It's best to use a product like this to tame my tresses.
The 5-in-1 Serum Spray provides:

- instant smoothing
- luminous shine
- tamed flyaways
- anti-frizz
- humidity protection

This serum comes in an aerosol bottle. It's sooo much easier to apply it all over your hair. One quick spray is all I need. If you see this in your local drugstore check it out!

Have you tried Argan oil before?

What type of concealer do you use?

Liquid Cover Up Oil-Free Foundation and Concealer in V13
There are so many concealer finishes on the market now! Foam, cream or liquid- its so hard to choose.

I personally prefer liquid because it provides the most natural coverage for me.

Now in my 20's I'm blessed to not have extremely dark under eye circles but who know what will happen later on.

Currently, one of my favorite concealers is Vasanti's Liquid Cover Up Oil-Free Foundation and Concealer.
I'm always on the hunt for another holy grail concealer!
What is your favorite concealer type and brand?

My Murale Experience

Don't have access to a Murale near you? Murale is now sold online.

Murale is a beauty masterpiece that will give access to the most innovative and leading beauty products, services, consultation, and advice.

I personally don't shop for cosmetics online unless I know the brand.
Since Murale is a division of Shoppers Drug Mart Inc, I am familiar with what that they carry.
Brands such as Bourjois, Coverfx and Quo are staples in my beauty bag.

I'm going to be honest with you my Murale experience was rocky at first (problem with my code) but throughout it I had exceptional customer service.

Have you ever had a company call you when a product is sold out?
