Trends: Ombre Fever

I'm obsessed with Ombre hair!
I have come to a conclusion that it looks best on others.
*sigh*

That doesn't stop me from enjoying other ladies rocking the look.
Khloe has the best ombre I've ever seen.
The look also looks great on Keke Palmer.

How do you feel about the ombre trend?

Two-Toned Nails with Glitter

I love doing my nails. If I had the time I would redo them everyday!

Nail art has become so popular lately. The idea of doing nail art on yourself overwhelms a lot of people.
You don't need to be an artist to turn heads with your nails.

Did you know that you could use items from your local dollar store to assist you with your nail art? Like circular reinforcements that you used in elementary school for lined paper! Use them as a guideline for half moon manicures. Those triangular white makeup sponges that come in packs of 100. Cut them up and use them to create an ombre nail look with your favourite polishes.

Whenever my manicures start to expire I just get out my glitter.

Hard Candy Nail Lacquer in “Hip Hip Hooray.”
Crystal Confetti is a collection of trend-setting nail polish shades that puts the final touch on fingertips and toes with a top-quality formula.

Hardcandy has some of the best glitters!

Currently Obsessed: Mary Kay Brush Cleaner

I'm always on the hunt for a good brush cleaner! Issues I've had in the past are overpowering scents or it takes way to long for the brushes to dry. Let me say this first- In my opinion a cleanser doesn't substitute as a deep clean.

Mary Kay Brush Cleaner ($12.00 CDN) quick-drying cleaner removes makeup and really cleans your brushes.

  • Helps to provide stay-true color between applications of different shades and textures.
  • Helps condition bristles to protect your investment.
  • Brushes feel new and perform like new after use.
  • Keeps brushes smelling clean and fresh.
  • Brushes dry in their original shape.

Directions on the bottle state that you should spray directly on the brush hairs. I prefer to spray directly on the paper towel. Then I sweep the brush back and forth to get the product out.

I really like how quick it gets the product out. Plus it smells really fresh!

I also tried it on a sponge brush. It worked but I do recommend deep cleaning sponges.

Are you a fan of brush cleaners?
