How to Keep Your Cuticles Looking Their Best

Summer is coming! You know what that means..
Fabulous summer nail trends!

Dana Caruso, Sally Hansen Beauty Expert shares the best way to keep your cuticles looking their best:
Treating your cuticles is one of the most important inclusions to your weekly nail regime, particularly when the cooler weather sucks the moisture from your body, your skin is drier and in need ofa little more TLC. When treating the cuticle it’s important to follow the “GOLDEN RULE” only remove what is torn, cracked, and lifted! NEVER cut what is attached and intact. Sally Hansen’s Cuticle Eraser Balm, contains cucumber and green tea extracts known to moisturize, soothe and nourish rough dry skin. If the cuticle is neglected it can become dehydrated and potentially sore, so it’s a good idea to keep your cuticles supple and nourished.

Canadian Beauty Brand Lippy Girl now at ebeauty.ca

As a Beauty Blogger, I love trying out new Canadian brands.
Welcome Lippy Girl!
Based out of beautiful British Columbia, Lippy Girl makeup is good for the earth, good for animals, and good for you. Their gorgeous, all-natural cosmetics are eco-friendly, organic, vegetarian, and vegan.
Each tube has a little icon on them. Tres Cute!
I received two lipsticks in Gob Smacked & Sassy Ass.

Love these pinks!!
As you can tell they have a blue base which is perfect for any skin tone.

SWATCHES
Each of these lipstick were creamy & moisturizing.
Each lipstick contains hydrating organic beeswax and jojoba, grape, and castor seed oil.

I also received two blushes: Bitch Slap & Wall Flower.
Wall Flower looked way too light for me but Bitch Slap was definitely my color!
A sheer mineral blush that brightens your complexion with a natural-looking flush of colour.

David Dixon World MasterCard Fashion Week 2012

This last post concludes my Toronto Fashion Week coverage.
The highlight of my experience was sitting front row for David Dixon. Yes... FRONT ROW.
I was close enough to touch the models. Best experience ever.

Thankfully, I had my DSLR to take exclusive front row pictures. David Dixon's line channeled the famous Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds". Being a Broadcasting graduate I have analysed the film from top to bottom. It was great seeing the inspiration come to life.

Before I share my pictures,
I want to share the beauty look from Maybelline.
Eyes:
Master Precise Liner in Black
Illegal Length Mascara in Black
Mixture of Baby Lips Quenched & Eye Studio Color Tattoo Cream Gel in Too Cool
Face:
Fit Me Foundation + Pressed Power
Lips:
Super Stay 14hr Lipstick in Dazzling Plum

What was your favorite outfit from the show?

World Mastercard Toronto Fashion Week: Pink Tartan Backstage Maybelline Beauty

Pink Tartan will always have a place in my heart because it was the first Fashion Show I've ever seen.

I absolutely adore this look.
Those lips are fabulous!
In the words of  Maybelline Canada’s head makeup artist, Grace Lee:
"This girl looks REALLY expensive"
Eyes:
Light gold dusted eyes
+
Skin:
Dewy
+
Lips:
Blood Red

World Mastercard Toronto Fashion Week: Backstage Maybelline Beauty Pavoni

If you're into bold looks this day would defiantly be for you!
The Pavoni makeup look was all about the eyes!

Theme:
"Glam girls gone a bit Goth"

 To get the look:
Red lipstick on the eye up the way up pass the crease to the brows.
Black liner under the eye & on the lid.
Finish off with a nude glossy lip.

I love that picture!
The Redken team did a great job with the Pavoni hair.
The look was a left part with a corn roll along the front hair line.
Lastly, the hair was twisted back.

This hairstyle can easily be taken off the runway into everyday life.

Products Used:
