The Body Shop Holiday Collections 2012

I recently got a sneak peak of the goodies that The Body Shop will be offering for the holidays.
Holiday Goodies
Every year they come out with a new and delicious smelling holiday line that I have to get my hands on. This year there is new special-edition bath and body ranges in Cranberry Joy, Vanilla Bliss and Ginger Sparkle. I can't forget the make-up. Expect a lot of sparkle and shine! Perfect for any holiday party or dinner date. They also have awesome products that can be given as gifts or stocking stuffers.

Annabelle Cosmetics TWISTUP Retractable Lipstick Crayons in Royale

Back in June, I attended a Annabelle/ Marcelle Cosmetics launch. They're one of my favourite Canadian Beauty brands which I think is pigmented and has a vast amount of products to choose from.

Thank you to Rasilla who took this picture. Look at me pointing and drooling over their new setup.

Above everything, I fell in love with their new TWISTUP Retractable Lipstick Crayons. I adore lip crayons but I hate the fact that once they get dull you have to go on a wild goose hunt to find a sharpener to sharpen them.

Thankfully, Annabelle has eliminated this issue with their new TWISTUPS.  Royale was the color which I fell in love with immediately! Has anyone noticed that I've been gravitating to fuchsia purples lately?!

This Lipstick is creamy and moisturizing.
I really want to try out the 11 other shades!

Would you wear this color?

Pink Tartan will always have a place in my heart because it was the first Fashion Show I've ever seen.

Those lips are fabulous!
In the words of  Maybelline Canada’s head makeup artist, Grace Lee:
"This girl looks REALLY expensive"

Stay tuned for my upcoming post on Toronto Fashion Week.

Backstage Maybelline Beauty Holt Renfrew- World Mastercard Toronto Fashion Week:

I cannot explain how grateful I am that I attended Toronto Fashion Week backstage courtesy of Maybelline. I've always been a fan of their products and I'm excited that they choose me to be apart of their experience. Hands down one of the best things I've EVER done in my life. I got to meet a lot of amazing people & talk about fashion/beauty.  I took a lot of pictures throughout the day.
Join me as I break down the hair & makeup looks from the past week.

Day One:
Holt Renfrew
Look#2
This look was ALL about the Strong Brow & Nude Lips.
Baby Lips in Peppermint & Peach Kiss were very popular backstage.

Maybelline Canada’s head makeup artist, Grace Lee used the Unstoppable eyeliner in Espresso to create an over extended brow.

Grace Lee explained:
"Glossy black lids add to the edginess and a neutral lip supports her carefree sensibility".

Look #2
 To get the look:
Eye studio master drama eyeliner in midnight was used on the lids.
Then smudged with clear gloss to get the rock star effect!

Loved the looks!
Stay tuned for my next post.

Essence Launches in Canada!

I could not contain my excitement when I received an invite to the Essence Launch Party.
As a beauty blogger, I have been reading essence posts on other blogs for years.
I've always admired their quality & affordable pricing.

Thankfully Canadians like myself can now indulge in their goodies at
 Shoppers Drug Mart & Pharmprix!

Here are some great pictures I took from their setup to get you familiar with the brand.

Stay with me Long Lasting Lipgloss $2.99
Eyeshadow Quattro $3.99
XXXL shine nude lipgloss $2.49
Color & Go quick drying nail polish $1.49

They also offer unique limited edition collections with their value pricing.
We can look for six collections per year!

I still can not get over the price of the essence line.
I have tested out some of the products and I'm astonished how great the quality is.
The eyeliners are long lasting, the glosses are not sticky and the polishes have great consistency.

I'm happy to see brands like Essence come to Canada and offer more variety at a lower cost.

Have you tried anything from Essence before?
