Trying out Aleva Naturals

Have you heard of Aleva Naturals?
I’m no stranger to the brand. I actually received a massive box of their wipes from my BabiesRUs registry. It honestly helped me get through the first two months of life with baby Ava. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to try out a few other products from the line.

The line is ideal for moms like me who don't want to use any products which might be an allergen on their children. From the very beginning I knew that I only wanted to use mostly Vegan brands on Ava.

Aleva Naturals is...
  • Vegan
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Paraben Free
  • Phenoxyethanol Free
  • Toxin Free
  • Harsh Chemicals Free

Calendula Multi-Purpose Cream ($12.99 CAN)
Ideal for dry, chapped or eczema-prone skin.
Main Ingredients:
  • Pure Calendula
  • Organic Aloe Vera
  • Shea Butter

I noticed that Ava had a few patches of extra dry skin on the back of her legs. It was bothering me because everything I was using on her previously wasn't working. The formula was non-greasy but still provided hydration. I won't lie I wasn't super confident in this product because it didn't seem "THICK". But boy was I fooled. I wish I took before and afters.

Soothing Comfort Chest Rub ($9.99 CAN)
Ideal for babies 3 months and older with stuffy noses.
Main Ingredients:
  • Eucalyptus oil
  • Lavender oils
  • Organic Shea Butter
  • Olive Oil
  • Natural Almond Oil

In the past few weeks we only had one bad stuffy nose night. It was horrible! Resulting in her crying for hours at midnight. This was the perfect product to add to our routine. We got rid of her stuffy nose, we massaged the rub into her chest and then turned on the humidifier.

I tried two wipes from Aleva Naturals. Since I used the "regular wipes" I already knew what to expect but was totally unsure if the sensitive version would do the trick! But both wipes can easily hold solids and won't tear when using. I know that someone out there is thinking why is this information important - let me tell you. Nothing is worst than cleaning a baby with a weak wipe...haha. One awesome fact is that these are eco-friendly and biodegradable in 21 days!

Main Ingredients-Regular Bamboo Baby wipes ($5.99 CAN):
  • Organic Aloe Vera
  • Chamomile
  • Natural Tea Tree Oil
  • Lavender Oils
Main Ingredients- Baby Bamboo Sensitive wipes ($5.99 CAN):
  • Organic Shea Butter
  • Organic Olive Oil
  • Aloe Vera
  • Chamomile
Last but not least the Bamboo Baby Diapers($16.99 CAN)!
My daughter drinks a lot of fluids. Her diapers are usually heavy from peeing. My main concern was leaking. I'm here to report that we didn't have ONE leak. Since we're on solids now.. we do not have blowouts. So unfortunately I can't talk about... that but it held in the “solid” with no accidents. I love that they have a 3-line wetness indicator that changes from yellow to green when baby is wet.

These diapers are no frills to me and that's totally okay.
They're unscented - no characters.
Just a unbleached diaper with the logo.
I did notice that the outside wasn't super soft but that didn't matter to me because that part isn't touching her skin. Inside was fine.
The diaper is made out of unbleached bamboo fibers.
Main Facts:
  • Chlorine Free
  • Biodegradable
  • Hypoallergenic
I hope in the future they offer bigger boxes for purchase.

For reference:
  • Size NB-1
    4-9 lbs
  • Size 2
    6-17 lbs
  • Size 3
    13-24 lbs
  • Size 4
    20-30 lbs

  1. These sound like such great products for a baby. When I have kids one day I want to use as natural products as possible.

I don’t have any children yet, but I am definitely leaning towards natural products when I do have a baby in the future!

  3. Finding great products that agree with your baby are a must! So glad you're enjoying their line, I will have to look for them. A diaper that controls leaks is a good one in my book as well, lol!

  4. I’m a mother and never heard of these products. I wish I knew about them when my daughter was younger. I wanted to try more natural products for her but didn’t get the chance. However she’s only 2 so I will look into this brand.
