Balmshell Cosmetics: How to you feel about Cheek / Lip Tints?

Lately I have been looking for other ways to explore colors out of my comfort zone. The easiest way is to play with finishes.

Tints is something I usually don't choose because of my skin tone.. I really have to get out of that mentality because WOC can wear anything.

One of my favorite Tint's is from Balmshell.
  • It can be used for lips & cheeks
  • Gel based
  • built-in antibacterial sponge applicator
Applied 3 times.. smudge out to get a "rosy glow"

My April Favorites

From left to right:
  1.  Ecotools is a eco friendly product that is inexpensive. This is from the 6 piece brush kit. The blush brush is super soft & good for the environment :)
  2.  Maybelline XXL 24 hour mascara. This mascara builds volume on my lashes and lasts a long time without flaking on my lower lid.
  3. Mac Lustre Drops in Sun Rush. The ultimate highlighter for EVERY skintone. This is a peachy bronze with gold pearl.. gorg!
  4. Maybelline Studio Gel Liner in Blackest Black. This is amazing! The staying power is crazy, I use mine as a base. I kid you not I can go through a whole day without it budging! Wooo
  5. Balmshell Lipgloss in Shopaholic. Super fab & Canadian! Click Here to read my previous review.

Balmshell Beauty Bloggers Event

Last week I attended Balmshell's Beauty Bloggers event. By now you should all be familiar with Balmshell because I have done a review of their glosses in March. Click here to read it.

Quick Facts about Balmshell:
-Developed by Twin sisters Jennifer & Fiona
-A Canadian product

This was such a fun event. We were able to swatch the products, give suggestions and mingle! Some girls I haven't seen since February, so this was a great opportunity to connect with them again and meet new girls. The Balmshell squad were really friendly, sweet and fabulous!

Balmshell Cosmetics Review + Swatches

Here is another fab product I got at TBBM from Balmshell.
Balmshell is a cosmetic line developed by Canadian identical twin sisters and self-professed cosmetic junkies Jennifer and Fiona Lees. They followed their passion and created a fun and flirty cosmetic line. Launched in 2006 with their line of signature float art lip-glosses, BALMSHELL cosmetics are paraben free and made from the finest ingredients.
I got 1 full-sized lipgloss and 3 sample sized glosses.
SHOPAHOLIC: Sheer Classic Soft Baby Pink
I included flash and no flash pictures for you all to see the amazing colors.

Each gloss comes with signature float art!
Shopoholic's float art story:
This is a story of a woman who is incurably addicted to shopping. She slides into a boutique just to pick up a few small things. When she comes out, the store's doorman struggles to carry all of her parcels, while her limo awaits. Sadly, there is no known medical treatment for this addiction.
LOL! Minus the doorman and limo that me!

I love how the float art can be screwed off and used as a keychain. Now I can find my car keys in my purse :)

YUMMY MOMMY: Light Mocha Brown

This gloss is my absolute favorite because it's such a great nude. Look how moisturize my lips are :)

WEEKEND IN THE HAMPTONS: Sheer Taupe Sandy Beige

These glosses are buildible & pigmented. They also have a pleasant vanilla - mint scent.
