Four pieces of clothing that you need to add to your wardrobe this Summer

Summer is here! I’m super excited because it's Ava's birth month! Can you believe that she's going to be 2?!? It's almost 24 months since I gave birth to her. Getting back to my old self was a journey. I'm still not there yet.. HELLO extra 15 pounds.. but that doesn't mean that I can't try to look cute.

I’ve been on the internet hunt, looking for affordable clothing to rock in this Canadian HEAT and was able to snag some cute finds! I also realized that a lot of these fashion items can be used as Fall outfits, later on in the year!

With that being said, here are four pieces of clothing that you need to add to your wardrobe!

Joe Fresh: Stripes for Summer

Joe Fresh has to be one of my favourite stores to shop. It doesn't matter if it's in-store or online, I always find one item to put on my must have list. In my city, my Joe Fresh location is in Loblaws. Food & clothes- what more can a girl want!

This summer, I was so excited to find out what's available!
Stripes are on the menu.

Each dress here is under $40.00 CAN.
Do you have a favourite?

Colored Denim is back!

I remember rocking my first pair eight years ago.
Ugh...I sound old!
Anyways they are back and hopefully here to stay.

My favorites are the "stretchy" kind. You know the ones that don't feel like they are cutting off your circulation.

I wore my favorite pair on a date to the museum with my BF. YES.. That's a REAL dinosaur in front of me.

From my experience H&M, Marshalls, Winners and Forever 21 have the best fit for all body types.

Do you like colored denim?

Outfit of the day: Mixing black & neutrals for under $12.50!?!

Last week I went to a retail store here named Stitches. The one in my city is an Outlet! Currently there is a 50% off deal going on, so prices range from $1.00 to $20.00. Honestly I'm not a stitches girl but when the prices are that LOW I'm there! LOL

My main goal was to go in there for $5.00 flats but that totally didn't happen.

I ended up leaving with this neutral "leather" jacket & little black dress :) The jacket was $5.00 with the 50% off deal!

Once I seen this jacket I had to have it. It had the motorcycle style with a girly feel. I loved the gathered cuff/bottom & stud detail on the pocket. I found this very original and cute.
The dress is very cute. For $7.50 with the 50% off.

I paired it with one of my mom's old vintage belts :) I really loved the "flap" on the dress. I've seen this style in more expensive stores but I never knew how it would look on me...love it!

I ended up going to H&M and buying a more expensive one like it... which I will show you all soon.

TIP:
It's always good to mix blacks with bright colors/neutrals.

Thanks for reading <3

Fashion: under $35.00... "All dressed in Black"

I love black.. I know I am suppose to explore other colors and I do!

BUT black makes me happy :)

Let me break out the outfit:

Boyfriend Blazer  Suzy Shier: $10.00
Tank Dress H&M: $14.95
Super Cute Bow Belt: $6.95
Tank: $2.50
=
Total: $34.40

What?!?! That's a steal!!!

If you want to break up the black the best thing to do is add gold!
I added a 5 tier gold necklace from Costa Blanca for $3.00
I also added Layered gold earrings for $3.33

Fab and affordable!

My question for you is:
Do  you own a lot of black?
