Spring is almost here!

I was recently contacted by BOA Apparel to showcase some of their Spring 2012 fashion.
Here are some pieces that caught my eye.

Started by twin sisters, Boa caters to the fashion forward, price conscious, and urban chic female. The store carries a wide selection of styles, from business casual, to party wear. Clothes that can start days, and easily work their way into nights.But that's not all. Boa has garnered a strong reputation for its funky, original accessories, including; earrings, necklaces, handbags, and belts. Rated as one of the "Best Places To Shop In Toronto" by Toronto Life Magazine.

I was given the opportunity to try out some items from the site.

Red Lips for Valentine's Day from MAC!

I'm rocking a red lip for Valentine's Day from the Dane Edan collection. I picked it up at a MAC sale a few months ago. The color is VERY similar to Rudy Woo but glossier.

I think this is fun!

FOTD with Make Up For Ever Smoky Couleur Palette

I love purples and I promised that I would show off a look from the palette. This look is SUPER easy! I used the purple, a tiny bit of black at the edges and some white in the corners.

I also used Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash with black pencil liner. Lastly, I always finish off my purple eyes with nude lips. Click here for my favorite nudes.

The colors I used are "starred" below.

L'Oreal Le Balm in Rose Elixir review

I know some of you ladies have seen this balm in your favorite drugstore and debated whether or not to get it. I won't lie it stayed in my bag for a while unused. Tinted lipbalm has never been my thing because of my pigment lips.

One day after leaving my makeup bag at home I tried this balm and I've been hooked ever since!

I'm going to break down this review into three important sections: Packaging, Consistency & Pigmentation.

Packaging:
I like the sleek packing for each balm. One of the pros is that it doesn't look like kiddy lipbalm! I also like how each cap is the same color of the balm in the tube.



Consistency:
The formula is extremely moisturizing. It last hours on me with little application throughout the day. It can be worn alone or underneath lipstick.
Even after removal my lips still feel soft.

Pigmentation:

Since it's a tinted lip balm I didn't expect much but I love the soft hint of pink it gave me. The application is sheer and soft!

There are seven other shades to choose from the Le Balm line.

Pink Satin, Rose Elixir, Tender Mauve, Heavenly Berry, Plush Plum, Caring Coral, Nourishing Nude & Caramel Comfort.

I absolutely love this balm and I hope to try more colors?
