Sally Hansen Perfect Plucker Scissor Style Tweezers

I get my brows threaded twice a month. In the between time, I try to maintain some decent looking brows.

Brows can easily make or break your face. I know that's harsh but it's the truth.

My brow hair is thick and grows pretty fast. I honestly struggle to pluck out the stray hairs sometimes.

Lately I have been using my trusty Sally Hansen Perfect Plucker Scissor Style Tweezers.

They can be found in your local drug store like Shopper's Drug Mart or Zellers.

The "scissor" style grip is easy to maneuver. It allows me to grip the hair firmly and grab on to any small thick hairs which are starting in grow in. Plus the handles are the perfect size for my fingers.

The best part of about these tweezers is the fact that you can find them for under $10.00. That may be steep for some but I know a brand that cost 20.00+ and they're pretty popular. If I can get the same quality for half the price I'll stick with that.


I know someone out there may be interested in seeing it in "action". Here is a picture of me trying to clean up some stray brow hairs.

As you can see it's pretty easy to use.

If there is anyone out there with some thick unruly brows, this may be a great option for you.

imPRESS NAILS Press-On Pedicure & Nicole Scherzinger's Signature Series!

I know that some of you ladies are looking at the screen in disbelief. There is no rule stating you can't wear "press-on" nails on your toes. Being the curious blogger, I tried(the glue type) on my big toes.

 It didn't last long but here is an option that will.

The imPRESS Press-on pedicure is very similar to the manicure version:

• Same Number System
• Unique Styles
• Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

According to the labels they last up to a week. I'm going to try them out, once my traditional pedicure is on its last lap. Feel free to Facebook me or tweet me how it went if I don't get to post my review on here.

I also wanted to highlight this new pattern from Nicole Scherzinger's Signature Series: Don't Wanna. They kinda remind me of a stamping nail plate. If this one doesn't interest you, there are 6 patterns and 3 new neon colors. I took a simulated picture to show you what it would look like on.

Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masks!

The weather in Ontario is amazing right now!

I've been trying to soak up every minute of it. Don't worry I have been lathering on the SPF to prevent any skin damage.

The SPF I use is non-comedogenic but I have been using my Montagne Jeunesse masks just to maintain moisture in my skin.

The theme for May is Chocolate!

I can't eat as much of it as I want. So why not put it on my face?

The Best Flat-Iron?

I don't usually do posts like this but I love getting input from you all!

Recently one of my favorite flat-irons totally died on me.

When I say die... I mean it fell apart in my hands. Its kinda funny but now I'm on the hunt for a new one.

Back in December 2011, I bought one from KISS. It's nice but I find that it doesn't glide smoothly. Tugging leads to breakage and I really don't want that!

Thankfully it was only $29.99 on sale..

Anyways summer is coming and I need to get a good one. I have a few questions for you:

It's been a while since I've done a self portrait. Believe it or not, I'm holding the camera with my right hand. I've perfected this because nobody has the patience to wait for me to take the perfect "shot". After 20 pictures this one was my favorite!
