Dinner with OPI's Suzi Weiss-Fischmann

I recently had the opportunity to do something amazing.
I had dinner with Suzi Weiss-Fischmann!

Suzi Weiss-Fischmann is OPI's Executive Vice President and Artistic Director. For two hours, a table full of Canadian Beauty bloggers and I talked about the wonderful world of nail polish. It was amazing!

Honestly, I am so grateful for the opportunities that I get through Spiced Beauty. Whenever I am unsure about my career path, I  meet strong, educated and accomplished women like Suzi. Believe it or not, it’s moments like this which keep me going.

Suzi was everything that I expected her to be! She was extremely knowledgeable and honest. She had an answer for everything. Check out some of her insights below:
  • Hottest color for the Holidays: Glitter
  • Hottest color for the Spring: Pastels
  • Colors that we should look for in 2013: Deep Blues & Yellows
  • Transporting nail polish: ALWAYS put them in a ziplock bag
  • Manicures in the office: Wear what you want! Add glitter to tone down a polish.
  • Top three manicures must haves: Axoplex Cuticle Oil, Drip Dry & Top Coat

 The Kardashian Line up close:

We also got to take see and take home:
Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection.
Glitter, confetti, pearls and pastels... need I say more!
These lacquers are available January 2013.
I will be posting the swatches soon!

Are you a glitter, confetti, pearls and pastel fan?

  2. Glitter to tone down nail polish? and wear whatever color you want? for the office? I am happy to hear that. I am always scared that my nail polish color won't seem professional, so I always go with neutral colors that won't pop against my skin tone. Next casual friday, maybe I will dare to wear a bolder color on my nails, thanks for sharing this with us!

  3. For me I like glitter and pastels colours the most. I actually saw the Kardashian Kollection at shoppers yesterday and wanted to buy the purple polish the one to the left of your picture but didn't because I already have enough polishes lol, but I do want to check out Selena's Collection.
