Make Up For Ever: Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks

I have a new obsession from Make Up For Ever to add to my collection.
Hello Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks!
Are these new to you?
If you're in Canada they launch April 5.
Check out your local Sephora for details.
Formulated with lightweight pigments and illuminating mother-of-pearl, Rouge Artist Natural provides translucent shine with sheer yet radiant color that will naturally enhance any look. The lipstick’s smooth texture glides on effortlessly and boasts maximum hydration and comfort. CuapaƧu Butter, which is rich in Essential Fatty Acids, along with Candelilla and Beeswax, add moisture to the lips and improve the longevity of the color.
Rouge Artist Natural N7, N17 & N37.

N7- Icy Brown
N17- Iridescent Fresh Pink
N37- Iridescent Icy Coral

I am always looking for the perfect nude.
My ideal is a nude lipstick that I can put on without a mirror and not look sickly.

MUFE N7 gave me that exactly look that I wanted!

SWATCHES:
I love this lipstick!
In one swipe my lips look moisturized, shiny & soft.

Would you be interested in trying out a lipstick from this line?
If I get a positive response, I will have a great surprise in-store :D

As a Beauty Blogger, I love trying out new Canadian brands.
Welcome Lippy Girl!
Based out of beautiful British Columbia, Lippy Girl makeup is good for the earth, good for animals, and good for you. Their gorgeous, all-natural cosmetics are eco-friendly, organic, vegetarian, and vegan.
Each tube has a little icon on them. Tres Cute!
I received two lipsticks in Gob Smacked & Sassy Ass.

Love these pinks!!
As you can tell they have a blue base which is perfect for any skin tone.

SWATCHES
Each of these lipstick were creamy & moisturizing.
Each lipstick contains hydrating organic beeswax and jojoba, grape, and castor seed oil.

I also received two blushes: Bitch Slap & Wall Flower.
Wall Flower looked way too light for me but Bitch Slap was definitely my color!
A sheer mineral blush that brightens your complexion with a natural-looking flush of colour.

L'Oreal Le Balm in Rose Elixir review

I know some of you ladies have seen this balm in your favorite drugstore and debated whether or not to get it. I won't lie it stayed in my bag for a while unused. Tinted lipbalm has never been my thing because of my pigment lips.

One day after leaving my makeup bag at home I tried this balm and I've been hooked ever since!

I'm going to break down this review into three important sections: Packaging, Consistency & Pigmentation.

Packaging:
I like the sleek packing for each balm. One of the pros is that it doesn't look like kiddy lipbalm! I also like how each cap is the same color of the balm in the tube.

Consistency:
The formula is extremely moisturizing. It last hours on me with little application throughout the day. It can be worn alone or underneath lipstick.
Even after removal my lips still feel soft.

Pigmentation:
Since it's a tinted lip balm I didn't expect much but I love the soft hint of pink it gave me. The application is sheer and soft!

There are seven other shades to choose from the Le Balm line.
Pink Satin, Rose Elixir, Tender Mauve, Heavenly Berry, Plush Plum, Caring Coral, Nourishing Nude & Caramel Comfort.

I absolutely love this balm and I hope to try more colors?
Have you seen this product in stores?

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Complexion Starter Kit + Unretouched ad campaign!

You have heard me rave about my love for Make up for ever's HD foundation before. I have a warm skin tone with yellow undertone with a hint of red. Finding a foundation with the right hint of red was always the hardest. Being a Woman of Color it was a huge deal for me to find a foundation that truly looked like skin.

I remember the day I walked into for a sample and ended up purchasing my first a bottle of the HD foundation & powder. It was my first big spurge on a foundation that truly matched my skin.

In Sephora starting today Make Up For Ever has started to carry a HD Complexion Starter Kit ( $89.00 CDN). You get to personalize your kit with your exact foundation color choosing their full range of 26 shades.

They are  also launching an interactive shade finder tool to help you find your perfect foundation match online. You can find the tool here if you want to try it out: www.hd.makeupforeverusa.com/shadefinder.

Each kit allows you to acheive flawless skin in three steps: Prep, Cover & Finish.

A lightweight, oil-free complexion corrector that enhances the skin's texture and primes the skin for makeup application.

    Cover: HD Invisible Cover Foundation
An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life
Finish: HD Mircofinish Powder & Kabuki Brush
A universal translucent finishing powder to be applied over foundation or worn alone. HD Kabuki Brush is a soft-to-the-touch yet sufficiently firm nylon brush designed to easily sweep powder on the face.
