OOTD: Animal Print :)

I have an confession.. I love animal print... Mostly leopard print. The funniest thing is that I can never buy it! It`s always never in my size or sold out...

I told myself when the perfect opportunity comes along .. GET IT! and I did for $5.00 from H&M in their sale section : D

It goes with the whole neutral obsession I have going on right now. I paired it with a pair dark blue skinny jean, neutral waist belt & layer chain.

I love this look!
Easy, effortless but chic!

Do you like Animal print?

I'm off to Cuba!

Yup you heard me right vaca number #3 for the year. I'm grateful & uber blessed that I get the opportunity to do them. Also I'm very happy that my bf is coming along. This is our first time taking the plane together & being on vaca for 8 days straight...MADNESS.

Great Dollar Store Finds for your MUA Kit!

Hi Girlies,

I often get questions about what`s in my kit. Currently my kit needs to be refined & rebuild! In this past year I`ve come across some amazing new brands which have some must have items.

Due to the size of some of these items, they can`t be put into a traincase comfortably. During one of my many random dollarama trips, I found these great heavy duty bottles!

Aren`t they so fashionable :) I made sure I didn`t get the same colors, so I didn`t have to label them.

So far I have (depotted):
Hand sanitizer
Fix+
Brush Cleaner (90% alcohol)
Moisturizer

I love these bottle because I know they can take a beating LOL. I`m not going to abuse them but it`s good to know that all your product is safe inside your traincase.

Andrea Face Spa: Revitalizing Peel-off Masque Review

I won an Andrea Lashes twitter contest recently! Woo :) They sent me a whole bunch of Face Spa Masques to try out.

The first one I tried was the Andrea Face Spa Revitalizing Peel-off Masque. This masque contains glycolic acid which is an ingredient often used in chemical peels.

The package contains a good amount of powder which you mix with water to get a thick consistency.

I never knew how much water to really use. The package stated a few teaspoons but I used more than that to get the perfect consistency. In the picture I wasn`t finished stirring... I just wanted to show what it looked like when water was added :)

I would recommending stirring with a stick or spoon, so you have something to smear the product on your face with. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes.

I had to take a picture with it on..haha! I loved what it looked like once it dried. It reminded me of liquid latex.
I took my time peeling off each piece of the masque. Some parts which didn`t have a lot of product like around my eyebrows & hair line didn`t peel off so easily. First I wet it with a washcloth, then washed it off when it became soft.

Here is a picture of a piece of the masque which I peeled off :D

Overall:
I`m pleased with this masque. My face felt so smooth after using it. This is a definate future purchase :)

June Favorites!

1. E.L.F Daily Brush Cleaner: Daily Brush cleaner is great to use if you don`t have time to clean your brushes everyday! Once you finish using your brush, squirt some cleaner on a towel or tissue and wipe away. Here is a tutorial using the brush cleaner.

2. Coppertone Oil free Face sunscreen: I use sunscreen everyday! Perfect consistency and texture. Who cares what kind tone you have this is essential. Skin damage can cause damage, wrinkle or cancer... I don`t want ANY of those.

3. Palmers Cocoa Butter: This has been a staple in my life for years. I always try other products but I always come back to my good old cocoa butter lol

4. Annabelle Make up Wipes for eyes: I wear several coats of mascara & this product works the best to get it off. plus it fits perfect in a purse or make-up bag!

Have you tried any of my favorites?

My Birthday Look & Outfit + Contest Winner

Yup I am now one year older. I still look so damn young! OMG!! Just looking at this picture If I told you girls that I was 18 or 19..you would believe LOL

It was a super low key birthday. Just some dinner & Shopping : D

The day before was super fun! My BF and I went to USA with other couple on a day trip. I got some good shopping deals..which I'll save for another post..

Lets start with the outfit:
Dress from Suzy Shier which I got 40% off at the Annabelle & Suzy Shier shopping event! It cost me around $15.00. I love the print & frills.
Belt $1.00 from Stitches
Necklace $2.00 from Ardene

Now on to the face & contest winner! I wanted something which was fun but simple. It had to be a look which was appropriate for day & night because there was no down time in the day.

So the winner is Jill-O. Email me your address please.

    Happy Birthday!
You should wear whatever you heart desires! But I would suggest a fun colourful summer look, maybe some bright pink or fushia lipstick and cheeks with a bold cat eyeliner a funky colour to complement (like electric blue or bright green).

Eyes:
Annabelle Smudgeliner in Smokey Blue on top & lower lids
Annabelle Volumelash.com Mascara in black

Lips:
Annabelle Volume Lip in Cherryoke

It was just a coincidence that I ended up using all Annabelle products! HAHA but they work together so why not!

I`ll glad you girls are loving the giveaways! I`ve got a few in the works! I`m thinking about doing an Annabelle one because a lot of girls have told me you want to try some but you can`t get them in your country.

Fusion of Color Cosmetics mineral powder is made of natural minerals with natural healing properties that beautify and protect your skin.

One thing to know about me is I love matte shadows. I prefer that finish over shimmer or satin! Fusion of Color has a matte eyeshadow section which has 24 different eyeshadows.

The colors I chose were:
 Hazelnut
Champagne
Damask
Royal Blue

The look:

Blues look amazing on brown eyed girls! Plus it gives that perfect pop of color.

Fusion of Color mineral powders has Carnauba Wax. So the shadows felt very smooth when applied. Also they weren't ashy on my skintone which is a huge thumbs up!

Clinique Brandied Bronze Colour Surge Eye Shadow Palette Review

I did a recently did a guest review at Makeup Junkie for the Clinique Brandied Bronze Colour Surge Eye Shadow Palette.

Make-up rambles: Summer oily skin & new skirt!

Im not sure where you are but its really HOT here!
Geez! My skin care regime consists of sunscreen & sometimes blotting papers.

I don't wear tinted foundations because I cant quite find one that suits my skin tone which is not ORANGE..argh!

But anyways I usually find by the half of the day my skin is oily!  As you can see by the picture. Not disgusting oily but only enough to be conscious about.

My question for you is how to do combat your oil when its hot?

Plus I got a new colorful skirt from Winners for $12.00! It feels good to add an item into my closet which is not black...haha.

Cute!! Plus it has pockets : D I paired it with a metallic belt for a punch of color.

Outfit of the day: Mixing black & neutrals for under $12.50!?!

Last week I went to a retail store here named Stitches. The one in my city is an Outlet! Currently there is a 50% off deal going on, so prices range from $1.00 to $20.00. Honestly I'm not a stitches girl but when the prices are that LOW I'm there! LOL

My main goal was to go in there for $5.00 flats but that totally didn't happen.

I ended up leaving with this neutral "leather" jacket & little black dress :) The jacket was $5.00 with the 50% off deal!

Once I seen this jacket I had to have it. It had the motorcycle style with a girly feel. I loved the gathered cuff/bottom & stud detail on the pocket. I found this very original and cute.
The dress is very cute. For $7.50 with the 50% off.

I paired it with one of my mom's old vintage belts :) I really loved the "flap" on the dress. I've seen this style in more expensive stores but I never knew how it would look on me...love it!

I ended up going to H&M and buying a more expensive one like it... which I will show you all soon.

TIP:
It's always good to mix blacks with bright colors/neutrals.
