Covid Summer Baby Bag Checklist

Lately, we have been taking Ava out on little excursions (obviously while social distancing). So far, we went to the zoo, a big park and to the splash pads. We're just trying to slowly add some normalcy to our life.

One thing I've noticed is that I have add to add a few "extras" to diaper bag.
I thought that it would be a perfect time to share them as I know some parents are now starting to ease up and go out.

Here is what's in our baby bag.

  • A waterproof portable changing pad
-I'm trying not to go into public washrooms... so if we have to change in the back of the car... SO BE IT!
  • Bottle and Sippy cup
  • Extra Diapers
  • Diaper wipes
  • Hand wipes
  • Plastic bags to wrap up dirty diapers
-Tip use doggy diaper bags if you don't have a garbage near by.
  • Diaper rash ointment/non-petroleum jelly
  • Bib/burb cloth
  • Two changes of light clothes
-Sounds crazy but accidents happens A LOT
  • Extra pair of sandals and bucket hat if you go to the splash pad or outdoor pool
-You might not get the time to dry them... so extra is needed
  • Two small bottles of hand sanitizers
-If you misplace one in the bag at least you have another!
  • Snacks
  • Socks
  • First aid kit
-Ava loves to run so bumps and stractches
  • Book/Toys
-We carry mini books for when she's in her stroller. We also have a stuffy attached to the stroller for her to hold.
  • Tissues
  • Sunscreen
-Super important to put this on before they leave the house and then reapply if they go into the water

What do you think about my list?
Is there anything I'm missing?

  3. When I do have to take my kid out, depending on where we’re going, I try to give her things that would hold her attention so she won’t want to touch other things or walk around.
